Okay first of, I would like to say that I am not a professional photographer at all, and this is the first critique I have ever done, but I would really love to give my opinion on this photo...
First off... The lighting is amazing. To me, it gives the photo an almost angelic look. She seems so relaxed and at peace. Her eyes are absolutely mesmerizing. She is absolutely beautiful! The emotion on her face really helps me think of this as art.
I am sure you have seen many people come on here and call a nude picture 'porn'. I am one of those people. But this is one hundred percent opposite to me. It is honestly the first nude photo that I thought deserved to be called art. The pillows and blankets, with how 'fluffy' they are give me a heavenly look on the photo, like she is in the clouds.
The pose that was chosen is perfect. She doesn't seem to be laying there saying 'oh look at me i have nice tits'. It's not a pose that makes her look like she is trying to be sexy, which is why I said she looked relaxed.
This truly is my first critique so I hope I did well. Lol. Thanks for such a wonderful photo.
This photo is beautiful. The use of the soft color and texture of the fabric gives it a very soft and seductive feel, and blends very well with the model's expression, skin tone and soft body lines. She pulled off this expression flawlessly - she's beautiful and her body very desirable, but her expression and eyes continue to draw me away from her naked beauty and hold my attention indefinitely. I normally enjoy seeing more, but the "less" component of the lacy sheet placed as it is binds my mind as well as my eyes. Another poster said she looked "satisfied". I hadn't seen that in the picture at first. It immediately spoke to me of loving desire. However, after reading that comment, I agree with that assessment as well. I think it accomplishes both feelings / moods equally. I would agree with the other poster that mentioned the angle. I get an odd vertigo kind of feeling from it. Regardless - immaculate picture. Bravo.
Another art of critique: Congratulations, this wonderful work was the winner of our A-Cup Club contest: Best out of 10. The image moved to the "Best of..." folder.
oh Sha Ang deserving any affection too. fine artwork. seems that every pixel is done well and even the spaces between them are as well ? perfection not a word i use in my comment i do know what i like adore and truely appreciate allowing my viewing anyones artwork
I find your works adorable; pure beauty. and if i ever compile a dictionary Beauty my visual image definition would be the female body form.
I love the innocence, vulnerability and surrender implied both in her expression and pose, particularly her right hand. Gorgeous skin tones. When it comes to photographing women your work is masterly.
